Why were you looking for a nutrition coach?

I was looking to better my health in 2022 and lose some weight. I had tried more restrictive diets but found them not sustainable. I found that a lot of the programs I had used before focused on calories and I wanted to increase protein for muscle gain and not just focus on calories. I found myself confused about what makes sense to fuel my body to reach my goals. I would end up being too restrictive and then have weeks were I was eating way too much.

What did we accomplish together?

We accomplished how to find balance with my eating so that I know how to fuel my body for life. I am not thinking about food all the time as I find myself full and satisfied from the meals I was prescribed. I have lost weight and my energy is way up. Living the 80/20 so I can enjoy the treat foods without guilt.

What were the biggest results you achieved?

Increased energy, increased muscle tone, digestion is better, weight loss.

What was the most valuable part of my coaching for you?

The encouragement, the following up, accountability. Providing suggestions for foods and great options. I just loved this program and will miss your encouraging emails with great ideas.

What did you like about the coaching program?

Loved that the program was specific but at the same time allowed so many options for things to eat. You can make so many meals and eat out with this plan. You really get a sense of what a balanced meal looks like early in the program. Teaches you the building blocks of how to create a healthy meal.

What didn’t you like about the coaching program?

Nothing.

Were there any standout learning moments for you over the duration of this program?

Yes understanding how satisfied I feel when I am eating on this plan and finding that balance with the protein, fats, carbs, fruits/veggies. I am not snacking and I feel nourished for activity and work. It is calming to eat portions that are substantial but healthy. Not feeling hungry is amazing! With this eating plan I have more energy and feel like my muscle tone is better and I am stronger. I can still have those treat foods and be on plan. That 80/20 is key to longevity. Just trying to listen more to the body to not overeat on those more treat foods. Eating slower, trying to eat not in front of a screen which is something I always did.
