Why were you looking for a nutrition coach?

For a while I knew that I'd been making less healthy choices and moving my body less than I had in previous years. I didn't feel good and like I was in a slump. I was reliant on quick easy eats, treats, and binge watching tv after work as my form of relaxation and stress relief. Deep down I knew this behaviour was the reason I was not feeling good, but I didn't want to admit it to myself because it felt easy. I'd seen two of my cousins go on their own health journeys, and when I saw how successful and happy they felt afterwards, it inspired me to try a weight loss program on my own. I had success on the weight loss program, but it wasn't sustainable for me because it involved eliminating foods and counting calories which wasn't realistic in the long run. I wanted to find someone who could teach me how to lead a sustainable healthy lifestyle that I enjoy living and that led me to nutrition coaching with you!

What did we accomplish together?

SO MANY THINGS!! You have given me the knowledge I need to take control of my health in a sustainable and enjoyable way that makes me want to continue on this journey post-program, and dare I say, forever!

1) Down 33lbs of fat
2) Increased confidence
3) Wearing tighter clothes, shorts, and bikinis
4) Moving daily in enjoyable ways
5) Reduced sweet and processed food cravings
6) Better digestion
7) Planning ahead for meals and movement
8) Flossing daily
9) Washing face nightly
10) Eating fruits

What were the biggest results you achieved?

The absolute best result from the program was the change in how I view myself and my increased self-confidence. Previously I liked to "hide" in very loose baggy clothing, I hated wearing shorts, and I'd never dream of wearing a bikini without boardshorts. Now I rock fitted clothes, shorts, and bikini bottoms without a second thought and it's because I've never felt better! This has also led me to try new things that I wouldn't have previously (for example, group sports) and I'm so grateful for that because I feel like I have the confidence to join in now.

What was the most valuable part of my coaching for you?

You coached in a way that was supportive, compassionate, and flexible while still holding me accountable which was exactly what I needed to be engaged and successful on your program. This style of coaching allowed me to absorb the knowledge you were teaching without getting overwhelmed or frustrated. Also, you always acknowledged the positives in every situation and that really helped to change my mindset to be more optimistic regarding my nutrition and health choices.

What did you like about the coaching program?

I loved that your program was simple, easy to follow, and realistic. It was so nice to have you determine the portions I needed and weighing the portions felt much easier than counting calories. I appreciated how your weekly questionnaires allowed me to reflect on the past week and they provided so many crucial learning moments. Your video replies were such great motivation for the next week and I also really appreciated that you were available anytime for questions or to listen to my concerns. This made me feel very supported. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better program or nutrition coach!

What didn’t you like about the coaching program?

There was nothing I didn't like! I loved getting to be a part of the start of your business. It's been so awesome to watch you and your programs evolve, and it's been so fun testing new ideas with you! You are such an inspiration and I'm really going to miss being on your program!!
