Why were you looking for a nutrition coach?

I had been trying to lose fat on my own for a while with very limited results (I was in an infinite loop of loosing a bit, then gaining it right back). I also had worked with a couple dietitians and I hadn’t found them to be very effective. They were either too vague (just look at your plate for quantities) or too specific (they would provide me a plans that required a ton of ingredients).

What did we accomplish together?

Proven the concept that balancing meals correctly can bring to fat loss without starvation! Also created an understanding of how to navigate life and eating out, while still making good decisions.

What has been the most valuable part of my coaching for you?

2 things: I now know, no matter where I am, how much of what to eat to feel satisfied and still lose weight and the other is to not fixate on the scale number fluctuation so much - fluctuating weight doesn’t mean that results aren’t happening!

What were the biggest results you achieved?

Increased how much I walk daily on a consistent basis and got to an overall weight I hadn’t been able to achieve on my own (and I have the tools to keep going!)

What did you like about the coaching program?

The best part was that it was a complete, easy to follow guide that I could start on day one. My previous experience working with dieticians was that I would need multiple sessions to even map out a specific week of meals and overall felt like I didn’t really know what I was supposed to do every day. I think the approach of providing an ingredient guide instead of a meal plan is genius: it allows for way more flexibility and it lets people feel like they’re eating what they actually enjoy.

What didn’t you like about the coaching program?

I don’t think there’s anything I didn’t like!
